PTR Vent 1

The VENT 1 joins the PTR family of VENT silencers. The VENT 1 suppressor is a revolutionary advancement in sound suppression and blast mitigation for 30 caliber firearms. The VENT achieves incredible sound suppression on supersonic and subsonic cartridges due to its unique 3D printed construction. PTR utilizes an innovative construction called Purposely Induced Porosity (PIP) technology, or “metal foam” which traps and slows combustion gases without increasing back pressure. 

This PIP design generates maximum sound suppression while reducing flash and keeping your weapons running smoothly thanks to the VENT technology. The VENT is precisely engineered, 3D-printed titanium construction ensures exceptional strength and durability, making it ideal for full-automatic use.

The VENT 1 308 suppressor is laser printed from titanium, resulting in a single structure that provides excellent durability and reliability without adding excess weight. This construction allows the VENT to better utilize its massive volume thanks to its 1.75” diameter.  

Weighing a mere 12.3 ounces, the VENT™ 1 achieves an optimal balance between lightweight design and robust durability. Its PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating provides protection against harsh environments, while the sleek black finish adds a professional aesthetic. The suppressor comes equipped with a direct thread adapter (5/8 x 24) and universal HUB mounting (1 3/8 x 24), allowing for seamless compatibility with a wide range of firearm platforms.

2. Head to your selected Powered By Silencer Shop dealer with a kiosk to complete your demographic and fingerprint scan in just five minutes. Snap a selfie and upload it online within your customer portal with the Silencer Shop app. 
3. Silencer Shop will email a DocuSign to you. Please review and digitally sign the file from your computer or mobile device. 
4. Set up your ATF eForms account at eforms.atf.gov. Make sure your email, name, and address match your Silencer Shop profile information exactly. 
5. You’ll receive an email from Silencer Shop that says, “Ready to Certify” and includes the phone number of your local Powered by Silencer Shop dealer. Set up a time to certify with your dealer and submit the form to the ATF for processing.
